BATON ROUGE — LSU’s Glen Davis and Darrel Mitchell were named to the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) Division I All-District 8 first team announced Feb. 18.
Freshman Tyrus Thomas was named on the District 8 second team.
Joining Davis and Mitchell on the first team were Southeastern Louisiana’s Ricky Woods, Louisiana Tech’s Paul Millsap and Brion Rush of Grambling.
Members of the team, which include 150 student-athletes selected and voted on by members of the NABC from 15 districts across the country, are eligible for NABC Division I All-American honors. The honors will be announced at the end of the 2005-06 NCAA men’s basketball season.
