BATON ROUGE — LSU’s annual football fan day is set for 3 p.m. on Sunday, August 14 at the Charles McClendon Practice Facility.
Due to construction in and around Tiger Stadium, this year’s LSU Football Fan Day will be held at the Tigers’ practice facility, which is located just off Skip Bertman Drive. Gates to the practice facility will open at 2 p.m.
Fans are asked to park in the gravel lot in front of the LSU Soccer Complex. Parking is also available in Lot D, which is located next to Alex Box Stadium, and at the Vet School.
This year’s LSU Football Fan Day will feature first-year coach Les Miles and his staff along with 105 Tiger football players. Fans will be able to meet and get autographs from players and coaches starting at 3 p.m.
In addition to the picture taking and autographs, threw will also be an interactive area for children. Mike the Tiger, the LSU cheerleaders along with the LSU women’s soccer and volleyball teams will be on hand for the event.
Interactive games with the LSU women’s soccer and volleyball teams will take place between 2 and 3 p.m. at the McClendon Practice Facility.
The first 4,000 fans through the gates on Sunday will receive a Fan Day Goodie Bag, which includes a 2005 LSU football schedule magnet, the popular schedule placard poster and the 2005 LSU football poster. The next 2,000 fans will received a placard poster and the 2005 LSU football poster.
Fan day activities will conclude at 4 p.m.
