BATON ROUGE — LSU head coach Les Miles will appear at six events across Louisiana sponsored by the LSU Alumni Association this spring, bringing to 15 the number of appearances he will make on a tour of the region to meet Tiger fans.
Beginning in May, Miles will travel to cities throughout Louisiana, plus stops in Texas and Mississippi, as he relates his plan for the future of the LSU football program.
The LSU Alumni Association events will take place in LaPlace on May 16 at a site to be announced, in Monroe on May 24 at the Monroe Civic Center, in Minden on May 26 at the Pine Hills Country Club, in Shreveport on June 8 at Independence Bowl Stadium, in Baton Rouge on June 14 at the Lod Cook Alumni Center, and in Gulfport, Miss., on June 15 at the Grand Casino Gulfport.
Miles will also speak at the annual Crescent City Tigers Sports Banquet at the New Orleans Hilton on July 24 in an event co-sponsored by the LSU Alumni Association and the Tiger Athletic Foundation.
Also, several LSU assistant football coaches are tentatively scheduled to speak at LSU Alumni Association events throughout the South this spring. Stacy Searels is currently scheduled to speak in Ferriday on April 28, Brad Peveto in Beaumont on April 30, Josh Henson in Mobile on May 7 and Jimbo Fisher in Birmingham on May 14.

Last week, the TAF announced a nine-city LSU Tiger Tour featuring Miles and other LSU personalities in Lafayette, Alexandria, Shreveport, Covington, Thibodaux, New Orleans, Lake Charles, Jackson, Miss., and Houston, Texas.
