BATON ROUGE — LSU men’s basketball freshmen Glen Davis and Garrett Temple were honored for this academic efforts early in their first semester of college by the Cox Communications Academic Center for Student-Athletes.
Davis was named one of the Student-Athletes of the Month by the Center for the month of September, while Temple was named for the same award for the month of October.
The staff of the Cox Communications Center chooses the winners in their various sports and the award is based on academic excellence both in the Center and in the classroom during the month awarded.
