PEACHTREE CITY, Ga. — LSU’s Rocio Fantilli used one of her best performances of the fall Saturday to beat Auburn’s Petra Bercik, 6-0, 6-2, in the SEC Fall Coaches’ Classic.
“Rocio played one of the better matches I’ve seen,” said LSU head coach Tony Minnis.
The Lady Tigers’ Amanda Mang and Camila Caliari withdrew from their second matches in the tournament due to injury.
Fantilli also withdrew from the tournament after her Saturday match. The Lady Tigers will forego Sunday’s matches and make an early trip home.
