BATON ROUGE — LSU head men’s basketball coach John Brady issued the following statement on Wednesday.
“An incident occurred within our team a month ago involving Jaime Lloreda and his inappropriate conduct toward a teammate. This incident was handled internally with our team, our administration and all the other parties for closure to occur.
“Appropriate discipline was applied immediately and other disciplinary criteria must be met. I feel confident in the steps that were taken. It is a situation we handled immediately and one I take seriously.
“Our team has moved forward through this situation and look forward to the beginning of school and the upcoming season.”
