BATON ROUGE — The September meeting of the LSU Baseball Coaches Committee scheduled for Thursday night has been postponed due to the expected severe weather caused by Tropical Storm Isidore.
The meeting will be re-scheduled later this fall, head coach Smoke Laval said. Members will be notified of the make-up date as soon as possible.
The Coaches Committee has served as the baseball program’s fund-raising organization since 1983. Coaches Committee funds have assisted the athletic department in purchasing equipment and making numerous improvements to Alex Box Stadium.
