RANCHO MIRAGE, Calif. — LSU senior women’s golfer Meredith Duncan took another step in her progression as one of the nation’s top golfers, completing all four rounds of a major professional tournament.

Duncan, the Shreveport native, made the cut and finished in 73rd place Sunday after the final round of the Kraft Nabisco Championships on the Diana Shore Championship Course at the Mission Hills Country Club.

Duncan, who will rejoin her Lady Tiger teammates this week to compete at the local University Club in the annual LSU/Cleveland Golf Classic (April 5-7), shot a 4-over 76 on the final 18-holes to finish with a score of 19-over par 307.

Annika Sorenstam won the tournament by one shot over Liselotte Neumann.
