Green to Participate in Hula Bowl

BATON ROUGE — LSU defensive end Jarvis Green will participate in a college football all-star game for the second straight week on Saturday when he suits up for the North team in the Hula Bowl in Maui.

The Hula Bowl will be televised live on ESPN at 7 p.m. CT on Saturday from War Memorial Stadium in Kahului, Maui, Hawaii.

Green, a four-year letterwinner for the Tigers, recorded four tackles, three for losses and one sack in last week?s Rotary Gridiron Classic in Orlando. Green also had five quarterback hurries in Team USA?s 42-13 loss to Team Florida last Saturday.

In four years with the Tigers, Green recorded 20 sacks, the fourth highest total in school history, to go along with 184 tackles and 38 tackles for losses. Green was a second team All-Southeastern Conference pick in 2001 after registering 52 tackles and four sacks for LSU?s SEC Champion team.
