NEW ORLEANS — On the final day of the Green Wave Classic, the LSU women’s tennis team won all six of its singles matches in New Orleans’ Goldring Tennis Stadium on Sunday.
Mandy Rice won a pair of matches in straight sets, while teammates Fernanda Tsucamoto, Tami Botts, Kelly Craycraft and Amy McIlhaney won one a piece.
The doubles match between the two undefeated Lady Tiger teams, Botts/Tsucamoto and McIlhaney/Tsucamoto, was not played.
The LSU women’s tennis team returns to action on Nov. 4-7 when its travels to the ITA Southwest Regional Fall Tournament in College Station, Texas.
