TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — The LSU Fighting Tigers’ doubles team consisting of Bryan Fisher and Jesse Smatt moved on to the championship match of the 2000 Seminole Classic Sunday with a tiebreak win over Auburn’s Strecker/Tukans, 9-8(3).
Smatt/Fisher will face fellow Tigers Dan Kiernan and Sebastian Rutka in a championship match to be played at LSU on Monday in the “Dub” Robinson Tennis Stadium.
Play was moved to Baton Rouge due to time constraints and travel plans. A time has not yet been set for Monday’s championship doubles match.
