SENIOR SEASON (2007-08)
Concluded an outstanding career as one of the best backstroke swimmers in LSU history … Finished with the third-fastest 200 back (1:45.76) and fourth-best 100 back (48.31) times in school annals … Competed in every dual-meet, the Georgia Tech Invitational and the SEC Championships … Also swam in freestyle and butterfly competitions … Secured 6th place in the 100 back at the SEC Championships with a clocking of 49.13 … Also earned 13th place in the 200 back (1:47.33) at the SECs … Named SEC Swimmer of the Week after sweeping the 100 and 200 back events in a dual-meet victory over South Carolina … Finished second only to teammate Hannes Heyl out of 35 swimmers in the 100 back (50.14) at the Georgia Tech Invitational … Helped the 400 medley relay team take first in the same competition (3:19.76) … Placed second in the 100 and 200 backstrokes against the second-ranked Stanford Cardinal with marks of 50.54 and 1:54.42, respectively … Spearheaded a 1-2 LSU finish in both back events at Alabama … Recorded wins in the 100 and 200 backstroke races versus No. 22 Notre Dame … Notched second in the 100 and 200 back events against No. 18 Texas A&M in his final meet at the LSU Natatorium … Touched the wall in first place in the 200 back against Georgia and Florida State … Set a team-high mark of 1:47.05 for the season in the 200 back prelims at the SECs … Participated in the 100-meter backstroke at the 2008 U.S. Olympic Team Trials … Posted a time of 58.08 seconds in the event … Received his fourth varsity letter.

JUNIOR SEASON (2006-07)
A team co-captain who continued his dominance in backstroke events and was an important part of medley relays … Competed in every dual meet, the Art Adamson Invitational, the Last Chance Bulldog Invitational and the SEC Championships … Clocked two NCAA provisional times in both back events … Recorded the second-fastest 100 back time in school history at the Bulldog Invitational (48.31) … Qualified and placed sixth in the 100 back championship final at SECs (48.41) … Won the consolation final of the 200 back and finished ninth overall at SECs in a team-best 1:45.96 … Helped the Tigers to fifth place in the 400 medley relay (3:16.29) and seventh place in the 200 medley relay (1:29.83) at the conference meet … Led the team to a win at the Art Adamson Invite with a victory in the 100 back championship final (48.87) and runner-up honors in the 200 back championship final (1:47.46) … Was also a member of first-place 400 medley relay at the invite … Tallied 10 wins during the season with nine of those coming in dual-meet competition … Swept both back events in LSU’s last three dual meets — versus No. 21 Alabama, No. 10 Florida State and Texas A&M … Won the 100 back at top-ranked Auburn … Earned his third varsity letter.

SOPHOMORE SEASON (2005-06)
LSU’s top backstroke swimmer and a proven team leader … Participated in the 100- and 200-meter backstroke at the U.S. Spring Championships … Placed 18th overall in the 200-meter back at that event … Posted the third-fastest time in school history in the 100 back at the Last Chance Meet (48.49) … Also held the team’s fastest time of the season in the 200 back, 1:46.62, at the Texas A&M Invitational … Won the “C” final of the 200 back and finished 13th overall (1:47.38) at the SEC Championships … Took second (eighth overall) in the consolation final of the 100 back at SECs (48.83) … Was also a member of LSU’s 200 and 400 medley relay teams at SECs … Recorded nine victories during the regular season … Helped pace the Tigers to a victory in the 400 medley relay at the Texas A&M Invitational (3:19.63) … Clocked a U.S. National qualifying time of 49.15 in winning the 100 back championship final at the A&M Invite … Opened the season with a victory in the 200 back versus No. 1 Auburn (1:48.80) … Earned his second varsity letter.

FRESHMAN SEASON (2004-05)
Outstanding freshman backstroker … Enjoyed a stellar freshman campaign, posting the Tigers’ fastest times of the season in the 100 back (48.78) and 200 back (1:45.76) … Both times registered as the third-fastest marks in school history, respectively … Swam at the U.S. World Championships Trials in April … Qualified for the finals in the 100 and 200 back at the SEC Championships … Won the 200 back consolation final at SECs with the third-fastest time in school history (1:45.76) … 200 back time was ninth overall and the second-fastest of any freshman at the event … Placed second in the consolation final (10th overall) of the 100 back with a time of 48.90 … Also was a member of the 400 medley relay team at SECs that finished seventh (3:16.31) … Finished fifth out of 13 swimmers in the 200 back at the Texas A&M Invitational with a clocking of 1:52.70 … Won the 200 back at Kentucky on Jan. 13 … Racked up a pair of wins in the 100 and 200 back versus UL-Monroe and Delta State on Jan. 29 … Earned his first varsity letter.
