JUNIOR SEASON (2007-08)
Added quality depth to the freestyle races … Saw action in five dual meets and the Georgia Tech Invitational … Recorded runner-up finishes in the 100 free (55.03) and the 100 back (1:01.96) in a dual-meet victory over Delta State … Notched a time of 2:15.89 in the 200 IM at the Georgia Tech Invitational … Placed sixth in the 200 free against Georgia … Earned SEC Academic Honor Roll honors.
SOPHOMORE SEASON (2006-07)
A vital part of LSU’s 400 and 800 freestyle relays in her first season as a Lady Tiger … Competed in every dual meet and all four days of the SEC Championships … Helped the 800 free squad to a sixth-place finish at SECs in a season-best time of 7:27.66 … Placed 27th in the 200 free at SECs (1:53.08) … Member of the 400 free relay team that posted a top-15 national time at the Art Adamson Invitational (3:24.02) … One of eight LSU swimmers to participate at the SMU Classic … LSU’s highest finisher in the 200 free (1:54.80) at SMU with sixth place … Took 12th in the consolation final of the 500 free at SMU (5:14.62) … Won the 200 free versus Delta State (1:54.50) … Named to the SEC Academic Honor Roll … Earned her first varsity letter.
FRESHMAN SEASON (2004-05 AT TULANE)
Comes to LSU after a record-setting freshman season at Tulane … Joined the LSU team during the middle of the 2005-06 season … One of three transfers from Tulane joining the squad in 2005-06 … Proved to be one of the top swimmers in Conference USA … Won the 200 freestyle at the C-USA Championships with a school- and pool-record time of 1:50.39 … Posted a lifetime-best with an 800 free relay leadoff time of 1:52.00 at C-USAs, which broke the Tulane record in the 200 free …Named C-USA Swimmer of the Week on Nov. 2 after setting school records in the 200 free (1:52.47) and 400 free relay (3:30.67) against UNO and Arkansas … Posted a split of 52.16 in that relay.
PRIOR TO LSU
Three-year letterwinner at St. Joseph’s Academy … Was a member of the City Meet Champion 200 and 400 free relay teams that earned All-America honors in both 2002 and 2004 … 2002 200 free relay squad ranked 10th in the nation … Earned a city championship and All-America honors in the 200 IM as a junior … Helped lead SJA to city titles in her final three seasons and state championships as a sophomore and senior … Coached in high school by Nan Murtagh … Prominent club swimmer for Jimmy Roberts at Crawfish Aquatics, winning a 2003 state title in the 200 IM.
