Reliable swimmer in the individual medley, who also contributed in distance freestyle and backstroke events … Clocked a team-high time in the 400 IM at the SEC Championships … Finished 19th in the preliminary heat of the 400 IM at SECs with a mark of 4:29.50 … Owned the third-fastest times of the season in the 500 (5:08.57) and 1000 (10:31.69) free events … Placed third in the 1000 free at Kentucky (Jan. 13) with a career-fast time of 10:31.69 … Part of a one-two-three finish in the 1000 free versus Delta State and UL-Monroe (Jan. 29) … Also swam a career-best mark and season-high time in the 500 free at the Texas A&M Invitational … Received SEC Academic Honor Roll recognition for the second consecutive year … Earned her third varsity letter.
SOPHOMORE SEASON (2003-04)
Participated at the SEC Championships with her best finish coming in the 200 butterfly … Qualified for the 200 fly finals at SECs, swimming a time of 2:08.06 to finish 16th … Swam in the 1650 freestyle, finishing 20th in the finals (17:23.74) … Had the third-fastest mark by any Lady Tiger in the 200 backstroke, 2:11.32, at home against Texas A&M on Jan. 23 … Was LSU’s highest finisher in the 1650 free at the Nike Cup Invitational, placing 21st with a time of 17:27.90 … Set a career-best time of 5:09.10 in the 500 free at the Nike Cup … Named to the SEC Academic Honor Roll … Earned her second varsity letter.
FRESHMAN SEASON (2002-03)
Had a solid freshman campaign, competing in every event of the season including her debut at the SEC Championships … Placed 28th in the prelims of the 500 freestyle (5:12.70) at SECs … Posted two 24th-place finishes at SECs in the 200 butterfly (2:09.33) and 400 IM (4:32.45) … Finished 15th in the 400 IM consolation final at the Nike Cup Invitational (4:28.35) … The time of 4:28.35 was the top time of the season by any Lady Tiger in the event … Swam a personal-best time of 10:38.75 in the 1000 free in a double-dual meet at Texas A&M and Rice, the fifth best time of the year in the event … Posted the fourth-best time in the 200 fly all-season, 2:07.22, versus Kentucky on Feb. 1. … Earned her first varsity letter.
