SENIOR SEASON (2005-06)
Enjoyed the best season of his career, competing at every meet … Held LSU’s top times of the year in the 100 butterfly (48.75) and was second on the squad in the 100 freestyle (45.53) … Qualified for the U.S. Spring National Championships in the 100-meter fly and 50-meter free … Turned in the best outing of his career in the 100 fly at the SEC Championships … Reached the consolation final of that event and placed third (ninth overall) with the 10th-best time in school history (48.75) … Helped the Tigers win the 400 free relay at Delta State on Jan. 14 … Earned his third varsity letter.
JUNIOR SEASON (2004-05)
Veteran freestyle and butterfly swimmer … Owned the third-fastest time of the season in the 100 free, 46.91, versus Delta State and UL-Monroe (Jan. 29) … Finished third in that race … Placed 43rd in the prelims of the 50 free at the SEC Championships (22.06) … Finished 33rd in the 100 free at SECs with a time of 47.07 … Swam a career-fast time of 51.28 in the 100 fly at SECs, taking 27th place … Fastest time of the season in the 50 free was 21.99 at Kentucky on Jan. 13 … Also performed well in relays on the season … Joined Jared Strecker, Ryan Cochran and Jeff Vivo to win the 400 free relay at Kentucky (Jan. 13) in a time of 3:08.86 … Named to the SEC Academic Honor Roll … Earned his second varsity letter.
SOPHOMORE SEASON (2003-04)
Added quality depth to sprint freestyle events … Swam an excellent season opener at Georgia as a member of the 800 free relay team … Group took first place with a time of 8:12.11 in long course meters … Placed 30th in the 50 free at the SEC Championships with a personal-best mark of 21.48 … Was LSU’s second-highest finisher in the 100 free at the SEC Championships (46.36) … Took 29th with a personal-best time in the 100 free preliminaries … Posted the fourth-fastest time on the season in the 200 backstroke, 2:02.24, versus UL-Monroe … Competed in the 400 medley relay at Alabama, placing second at 3:37.40 … Earned his first varsity letter.
FRESHMAN SEASON (2002-03 AT OLD DOMINION)
Excellent sprint freestyle swimmer … Scored in the 50 and 100 fly at the conference championships.
PRIOR TO LSU
Four-year letterwinner at Falcon College in Zimbabwe … Also lettered in rugby and water polo.
