Boyd McWhorter Scholar-Athlete Post-Graduate Scholarship Awarded the team’s Stripes Award for outstanding work ethic in the pool, weight room and classroom … Qualified and placed 12th in the platform finals at Zones with a score of 554 … Took eighth place in the platform at SECs with a mark of 261.25 … Earned his fourth varsity letter.
JUNIOR SEASON (2005-06)
Steady performer in diving events and a team co-captain … LSU’s highest finisher in the platform at the NCAA Zone B Regional, taking ninth place with a score of 542.85 … Placed 33rd in the 1-meter at Zones (224.30) and was 27th in the 3-meter (244.45) … Competed on all three boards at the SEC Championships … Was 17th in the 1-meter at SECs (228.55), 10th in the platform (238.35) and 15th in the 3-meter (250.25) … Turned in the best dual-meet performance of the season against Texas A&M on Jan. 21 … The Tigers’ highest finisher in the 1-meter against the Aggies, taking second (319.35) … Placed seventh in the platform at the Georgia Invitational (240.05) and reached the finals of the 1-meter where he took 12th (240.60) … Received SEC Academic Honor Roll recognition for the third straight year … Earned his third varsity letter.

FRESHMAN SEASON (2003-04)
One of the Tigers talented freshman divers who gained much experience … Competed in every meet of the season, including the Georgia and Minnesota Invitationals as well as the SEC Championships … Was LSU’s highest finisher in the platform event at SECs, taking 12th place with a score of 380.55, a career-high … Was also the Tigers highest scorer in the 3-meter, finishing 19th (409.30) … Placed 21st in the 1-meter at SECs with a mark of 218.15 … Most impressive performance came on Jan. 31, winning the 3-meter in the home finale versus Florida State (287.85) … Qualified for the finals of the 1-meter at the prestigious Minnesota Invitational on Nov. 23 … Took eighth place in that event with a score of 234.95 … One of five LSU swimmers named to the SEC Freshman Academic Honor Roll … Earned his first varsity letter.
