SOPHOMORE SEASON (1999-2000): Competed at the Southeastern Conference Championships in the 500 and 1650-yard freestyle events, as well as the 400-yard individual medley… Placed 12th in the 1650 freestyle, 15th in the 400 individual medley, and 22nd in the 500-yard freestyle competitions… Recorded the Tigers fastest times of the season in both the 1650-yard freestyle and the 400-yard individual medley events… Finished the season with LSUs second-best times in the 500 and 1000-yard freestyle competitions… Member of the SEC Mens Swimming and Diving Academic Honor Roll with a 3.098 grade point average in zoology… Earned his second varsity letter.
REDSHIRT FRESHMAN SEASON (1998-99): Added needed depth to the Tigers long distance events… Specialized in the 1000 and 1650 freestyle events… Recorded the second-best times of the season in both the 1000-yard freestyle and the 1650-yard freestyle… Earned his first varsity letter.
FRESHMAN SEASON (1997-98): Redshirted.
Prior to LSU: Selected to the All-State team from 1991-97… 1996 and 1997 Louisiana Long Course USS State Champion… Placed fifth during his senior year in the 800-meter freestyle competition at the Junior National Championships… Qualified for the USS Select Camp in the 400-meter individual medley event… Three-time Louisiana state champion.
