JUNIOR SEASON (1999-2000): Competed at the Southeastern Conference Championships in the 100 and 200-yard butterfly events, as well as the 100-yard breaststroke… Placed 18th in the 100 butterfly, 21st in the 200 butterfly, and 23rd in the 100-yard breaststroke competition… Finished the season with the Tigers second-fastest times in both the 50 and 100-yard butterfly events… Recorded LSUs third-best time of the season in the 200 butterfly competition with a time of 1:51.79… Member of the SEC Mens Swimming and Diving Academic Honor Roll by maintaining a 3.728 grade point average in chemical engineering… Received the LSU Academic Award… Earned his third varsity letter.
SOPHOMORE SEASON (1998-99): Swam the Tigers third-fastest time of the season in the 50-yard breaststroke event… Also swam the fifth-fastest time of the year in the 50-yard butterfly… Earned his second varsity letter.
REDSHIRT FRESHMAN SEASON (1997-98): Won the LSU Academic Award… Recorded his best meet of the season in the Gulf States Senior Championships… Earned his first varsity letter.
FRESHMAN SEASON (1996-97): Redshirted.
Prior to LSU: Two-time high school State Champion in the 100-yard butterfly event… Third-place finisher at the state championships in the 200-yard individual medley competition… Three-year high school team captain at Douglas High School… Named the team’s Most Valuable Performer both his sophomore and senior seasons.
