Set three personal bests at conference championships … Finished 33rd in the 100 back, in a tie for 43rd in the 50 free and 49th in the 100 free at SEC’s … Touched the wall eighth in the 100 back in dual meets against Missouri and Texas A&M … Against Virginia Tech and Kentucky, finished 14th in the 100 back, 15th in the 50 free and 16th in the 100 free … Just missed moving on to the final of the 100 back at midseason … Finished fourth in the 200 fly and set a best time for seventh place in the 200 back in the win over SMU … Touched the wall sixth overall in the 200 back against Wyoming … Named to the SEC First-Year Academic Honor Roll … Earned his first varsity letter.
PRIOR TO LSU
Owned top-eight finishes in both the 50 and 100 free in 2014 at the North Carolina High School 4A state meet … He was a part of the 200 and 400 free relay teams that won the state championship and finished second respectively … A part of the two-time state championship team in North Carolina … A part of the YMCA of the Triangle Area swim team and broke the 200-meter free relay records for the 15-16 and 17-18 national age groups … Coached by Chad Oken at YMCA of the Triangle Area … A part of National Honor Society and Mu Alpha Theta in high school.
