Earned ITA Doubles All-American honors his junior season after he and Danny Bryan put on one of the best doubles campaigns in LSU history that was capped off with an appearance in the NCAA Doubles Quarterfinals … Bryan and Gaston won the 2007 SEC Indoors Doubles Championship in New Orleans … The Tiger tandem finished the season ranked No. 6 in the country … Earned second-team All-SEC honors during his sophomore year … Named to the SEC Honor Roll and earned Director Cup honors during his junior and senior seasons … He finished his tenure as a Tiger with a 59-54 record in singles and 96-37 record in doubles.

SENIOR SEASON (2007-08)
Named to the SEC Honor Roll … Finished the year with a 7-12 record in singles and 11-12 mark in doubles … Teamed up with fellow senior Kevin Dessauer to post a solid 9-5 doubles record … The LSU duo picked up two convincing wins against ranked pairs by defeating the 30th-ranked team of of Javier Garrapiz and Travis Helgeson of Georgia, 8-5, and knocking off the 42nd-ranked team of Ruben Gonzales and Marc Spicijaric of Illinois, 8-4, in the NCAA Tournament … Listed at No. 9, with partner James Cluskey, in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association preseason rankings … Defeated No. 79-ranked Pedro Campos of South Carolina in straights sets, 6-4, 6-4, at the Auburn Invitational … Compiled a 3-3 record in singles and 2-2 doubles mark in the fall … Earned fourth varsity letter.

JUNIOR SEASON (2006-07)
Named an ITA Doubles All-American … Won the SEC Indoor Doubles Championship with Danny Bryan … Named to the SEC Honor Roll … Compiled a 11-11 record in singles and 24-4 record in doubles … Captured one of the biggest wins of his career against Tennessee in the SEC Tournament by defeating No. 40-ranked Bobby Cameron of Tennessee, 7-5, 6-3 … Ranked No. 25 in the ITA Southeast Regional Rankings … Clinched LSU’s 4-3 win over Rice on Feb. 20 … Sat out most of the fall with a back injury … Ranked No. 86 in the preseason ITA rankings … Received third varsity letter.

SOPHOMORE SEASON (2005-06)
Earned second-team All-SEC honors … Finished the season ranked No. 43 in doubles with partner Danny Bryan as the duo won their last 11 matches of the season… His biggest singles victory came on March 31 when he defeated Ole Miss’s Eric Claesson in straight sets, 7-5, 6-4, to clinch the victory for the Tigers over the then eight-ranked Rebels (3/31/06) … Competed in four tournaments during the fall season … Won the doubles title in the Rice Crown Plaza Invitational with Bryan … Made the finals of the ITA Southeast Regional … Lost to teammate Ken Skupski in the finals of the Wells Fargo Hurricane Katrina Relief Tournament … Earned second varsity letter.

REDSHIRT FRESHMAN SEASON (2004-05)
Was dominant in doubles play, finishing the season with a spotless 12-0 record in dual matches, with partner Danny Bryan … Was a solid sixth singles seed with a 9-5 record in dual matches … Ended the season with overall records of 27-6 in doubles and 14-12 in singles … Saw significant action in the 2004 fall season, going 4-6 in singles and 10-4 in doubles … Picked up the first top-50 win of career with partner Danny Bryan defeating SMU’s No. 41 ranked team of Oredsson and Soderberg … Earned first varsity letter.

FRESHMAN SEASON (2003-04)
