SENIOR SEASON (2007-08)
Made one tournament appearance during his senior season at LSU … Cracked the starting lineup in the Tigers’ season opener at the Scenic City Invitational (Sept. 10-11) … Finished the tournament in a tie for 73rd place in the individual standings with a 54-hole score of 12-over 225 (77-77-71) … Was a member of the SEC Academic Honor Roll for his outstanding performance in the classroom … Earned his fourth varsity letter with the Tigers.
JUNIOR SEASON (2006-07)
Cracked the starting lineup in nine tournaments during his junior season in 2006-07 … Finished the season with a stroke average of 76.8 … Posted a season-low tournament score of 3-over 216 at the Jerry Pate National Intercollegiate (Oct. 9-10), including a season best 2-under 69 in the second round … Earned his best finish of the season at the SunTrust Gator Invitational (Feb. 10-11) where he tied for 22nd place at 7-over 217 … Finished in a tie for 47th place in his third career appearance at the SEC Men’s Golf Championships in April … Also saw action in the Shoal Creek Intercollegiate (Sept. 25-26), the Oklahoma Intercollegiate (Oct. 15-17), the John Hayt Invitational (Feb. 18-20), the Seminole Intercollegiate (March 4-6), the Schenkel/E-Z-Go Invitational (March 17-18) and the Hootie at Bulls Bay Intercollegiate (March 25-27) … Earned his third varsity letter.
SOPHOMORE SEASON (2005-06)
Arguably the team’s top performer during his sophomore season after finishing his freshman season as one of the top newcomers in the SEC … Was named First-Team All-Louisiana by the Louisiana Sportswriters Association for his performance on the course … One of just two Tigers to participate in all 11 tournaments during the season, finishing with a 73.8 stroke average in 33 rounds … Finished the season with a team-leading 11 rounds at par or better, including two rounds of 3-under 69 … Led the team with three top-10 finishes, while adding another top-20 finish to his resume … Completed three tournaments in a tie for fourth place, including the Shoal Creek Intercollegiate (Sept. 26-27), Gary Koch/Cleveland Golf Invitational (Oct. 10-11) and Hootie at Bulls Bay Intercollegiate (March 26-28) … Posted back-to-back tournament scores of 5-under par 211 at the Shoal Creek Intercollegiate and Gary Koch/Cleveland Golf Invitational … Was named SEC Men’s Golfer of the Week on March 30 for his performance at the Hootie at Bulls Bay Intercollegiate … Became the first Tiger to be named SEC Men’s Golfer of the Week since two-time All-SEC performer Heath West received the honor on April 8, 2004 … Tied for 38th place in his second career appearance at the SEC Championships … Named to the SEC Academic Honor Roll … Earned second varsity letter.
FRESHMAN SEASON (2004-05)
Participated in 10 tournaments during his freshman season and ranked as one of the top freshman in the SEC with a 74.13 stroke average in 30 rounds … Led LSU to the team title when he earned medalist honors at the LSU Spring Invitational, April 1-3 … Won the tournament by two strokes with a 5-under par 211, including a season-best 3-under 69 in the second round … Became the first Tiger to win a tournament since All-American John Humphries won the same event in 2003 … Added two top-20 finishes to his resume … Tied for 19th at the Schenkel/E-Z-Go Invitational, March 19-20, and tied for 15th at the Hootie at Bull’s Bay Intercollegiate, March 27-29 … Recorded 11 rounds at par or better … 88.88 percent of rounds counted for the Tigers … Earned first varsity letter.
