Credential Rules & Regulations – All Credentials

  • Guest and Sideline Pregame Credentials do not allow access into Tiger Stadium without a valid game ticket. Escorting is also not permitted with these credentials.
  • Credential must remain visible at all times;
  • Credential is non-transferable;
  • Credential is provided for the sole purpose of allowing access to the venue/specific area(s) for those with a working purpose or an authorized provider of game-related services (as employee or agent) in connection with LSU and the events, activities and interviews relating thereto (collectively hereafter the “event”);
  • The Southeastern Conference, LSU or its designee may revoke the credential and/or the privileged granted hereunder for any reason in its sole discretion;
  • All individuals in the bench area must be at least 10 years old;
  • All individuals outside of the team bench area on the sideline must be at least 16 years old;
  • Unauthorized use of this credential or violation of its terms may subject bearer and/or assigner to ejection from the venue, revocation of the credential, denial of access in the future, prosecution for civil or criminal trespass and any other remedies available under the law;
  • The bearer of the credential and his or her employer or assigning organization: (i) assume all risk incident to the performance of services by the bearer, assume all risk incident to the bearer’s attendance at the event and agree to indemnify and hold harmless the conferences, its member institutions and their respective affiliates, agents and employees from and against all liability, loss, damage or expense resulting from or arising out of the bearer’s presence at the venue, howsoever caused, whether by negligence or otherwise; and (ii) grant permission to the institution and its designees to utilize without compensation the bearer’s images, likeness and/or voice in any photograph or live or recorded video or audio display or other transmission or reproduction of the Event or in any excerpt thereof.

Pregame Field Credential – Must Possess Valid Ticket for Entry

  • Credential must remain visible at all times;
  • Credential is non-transferable;
  • The Southeastern Conference, LSU or its designee may revoke the credential and/or the privileged granted hereunder for any reason in its sole discretion;
  • Spouses, children and/or guests will not be admitted without the a valid game ticket or proper credential – no escorting;
  • Credential is valid for pregame only, and credential bearer must exit the field prior to the 3:00 minute mark on the clock pregame or when LSU or its designee instructs credential bearer to do so;
  • Credential bearer may not access either bench area;
  • Unauthorized use of this credential or violation of its terms may subject bearer and/or assigner to ejection from the venue, revocation of the credential, denial of access in the future, prosecution for civil or criminal trespass and any other remedies available under the law.
  • All working and guest passes MUST remain behind the WHITE hash marks around the playing surface during pregame.
  • Only bench credentials and passes issued by LSU Football will be permitted in the bench area pregame.
  • Escorting is not allowed into the bench area without the proper pass.

In-Game

  • All working and guest passes MUST remain behind the GOLD hash marks around the playing surface during the game.
  • Only Network TV and LSU Videographers and Photographers will be allowed between the WHITE and GOLD hash marks.
  • All other photographers must kneel behind the GOLD hash marks.
  • All individuals on the field, outside of the team box, MUST be at least 16 years old to remain on the field during play
    – Presentations may include those under 16 but they cannot remain on the field one play resumes
  • All individuals inside the team bench area must be at least 10 years old

  • SEC POLICY ON ACCESS TO THE COMPETITION AREA

    In all sports, institutions shall limit access to the competition area to participating student-athletes, coaches, officials, support personnel, and properly credentialed or authorized individuals at all times. For the safety of participants and spectators alike, at no time before, during, or after a contest may spectators enter the competition area. Each member institution must provide security and uniformed law enforcement presence around each team and game officials before, during, and after the event to prevent contact with spectators. The area where teams and officials are dropped off and their path to/from team areas must be secure and not accessible to the public.

    In the event of a field or court rush, the use of uniformed law enforcement personnel and equipment to secure a clear path off the playing surface for the visiting team and all team personnel is required. If a field/court rush ensues, the visiting team shall forgo the post-game handshake line and immediately move inside the barricade and get to their locker room as soon as possible. Each institution shall be responsible for implementing procedures to ensure compliance with this policy. Institutional penalties against individuals improperly entering the competition area may include expulsion from the facility, arrest for trespassing, loss of future ticket privileges, or other measures deemed appropriate by institutional law enforcement and administration. Violators who are students must also be subject to institutional student disciplinary measures.

    Penalties for Institutional Violations

    For the safety of participants and spectators alike, the Commissioner shall impose the following fines, which shall be paid directly to the opposing institution, for any field or court rush that occurs when the visiting team and/or game officials are still on the playing surface. The Commissioner may (in his or her sole discretion) impose additional penalties as he/she deems appropriate.

    1st Offense: $100,000
    2nd Offense: $250,000
    3rd and each Subsequent Offense: $500,000
