BATON ROUGE — After sweeping its NCAA Regional, third-seed LSU will face the Rice Owls in this weekend’s Super Regional at Alex Box Stadium. The best-of-three series will begin Friday at 6 p.m., followed by Saturday at 4 p.m. and Sunday at 6 p.m., if necessary.
Rice (43-16) came from the loser’s bracket to defeat Kansas State on Monday, 13-4.
