Dear Tiger Fan,
March Madness is a phenomenon that captures America’s attention every year. Millions of fans watch hours and hours of basketball on television and follow the action via the internet to keep up with the latest scores and buzzer beater action.
There are not a lot of opportunities to see March Madness up close, but this weekend Tiger fans can experience it first hand when the NCAA Women’s Basketball 1st and 2nd Rounds come to the Pete Maravich Assembly Center. I hope I will see you there.
Tickets are only $30 to see all three games and $19 for youth 12 and under. For an individual day ticket you will pay $16 for an adult and $11 for youth. The ticket book for all three games is a better value. All tickets can be purchased at LSUsports.net or at the Maravich Center box office on the days of the games
Two games will be played Sunday with LSU hosting Green Bay at 6 p.m. before Liberty meets Louisville at 8:30 p.m. The winners of Sunday’s games will play Tuesday at 8:30 p.m. for the opportunity to advance to the Sweet Sixteen next weekend in Raleigh, N.C.
We do not know when March Madness will return to the Maravich Center again, so do not miss this chance to give the Lady Tigers a home court advantage in NCAA Tournament competition and to see some of the greatest action in all of college basketball.
We welcome your comments at athletics@lsu.edu. Unfortunately we cannot answer every e-mail we receive, but please be assured they will all be read.
Geaux Tigers!
