BATON ROUGE, La. — LSU baseball coach Paul Mainieri will host a luncheon open to the general public at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, April 3, at the L’Auberge Hotel and Casino on River Road in Baton Rouge. LSU All-America pitcher Ben McDonald, who enjoyed an nine-year MLB career, will serve as the guest speaker at the event.
The luncheon, which is presented by UPS, will be held at the Bon Temps Buffet located on the main floor at L’Auberge, and the all-you-can-eat buffet is $14.95 per person. The buffet is available beginning at 11:30 a.m., and the program will begin at approximately Noon.
Mainieri will discuss the first half of the Tigers’ 2018 season and look ahead to the second half beginning with next weekend’s SEC series at Texas A&M.
