Arias, Daigle Named ITA All-Americans

BATON ROUGE – LSU junior Boris Arias and sophomore Jordan Daigle were named All-Americans by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) for their performance at the NCAA Individual Championships.

The duo joins the list of 25 other LSU Tennis All-Americans including both head coach Jeff Brown (1988) and assistant coach Danny Bryan (2007) in receiving this honor.

Arias and Daigle earned All-America distinction by advancing to the quarterfinals of the NCAA Doubles Championships played in Waco, Texas after coming back from behind in the previous two matches of the tournament.

The duo of Arias and Daigle combined to finish 17-10 this season, including seven wins over ranked opponents, and they ended the season ranked No. 12 in the ITA national standings.

LSU wrapped up the 2014-15 season with an 18-9 record and the 16th appearance in the NCAA Championships in 18 seasons under Jeff Brown, the 2015 ITA Southern Region Coach of the Year.
