BATON ROUGE, La. – LSU Tiger Tracks, a program highlighting various aspects of the university and its athletic department, can be seen at 9 p.m. CT Wednesday on Cox Sports Television.
The show, hosted by Jordy Hultberg and Bill Franques, is a weekly 30-minute production featuring interviews with LSU administrators, coaches and student-athletes, along with a look at some of the events and scholarly activity on campus.
LSU Tiger Tracks begins with visit to the studio from former Tiger All-American pitcher and current ESPN baseball analyst Ben McDonald, who discusses the 2015 season and LSU’s prospects for reaching the College World Series.
The show continues with a look at last week’s Wally Pontiff Jr. Foundation Baseball Classic at Zephyr Field in Metairie, La., as the Tigers faced Louisiana-Lafayette in a game that benefited charitable organizations throughout Louisiana.
LSU Tiger Tracks also features a profile by correspondent Garrett Walvoord on softball outfielder A.J. Andrews, who has helped lead the Tigers to a remarkable 36-3 record.
