BATON ROUGE – The dates for the “2012 Nikki Caldwell Basketball Camps” to be held at the LSU Basketball Practice Facility and Pete Maravich Assembly Center have been announced.
The types of camps and dates for the summer are: June 8-10 – Next Level Camp; June 18-21 – Day Camp II; and June 22-24 – Team Camp. The originally scheduled Day Camp to be held June 4-7 will now take place June 18-21.
Day Camp will last from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and cost $250 per camper. Next Level Camp, LSU’s elite camp, starts on June 8 and runs daily from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. The cost is $250 per overnight camper or $200 per a commuting camper. Next Level Camp ends at 1 p.m. on June 10. Each camper will receive daily on court instruction from Coach Caldwell, her staff and the Lady Tigers. They will also receive a camp basketball, t-shirt and a pizza party.

Caldwell guided the Lady Tigers to a 23-11 record, an NCAA Tournament second round appearance and the Southeastern Conference Tournament championship game in her first season at LSU. The Lady Tigers put together their most productive season since the 2008 Final Four.
Caldwell previously spent three seasons as the head coach at UCLA where she turned the Bruins into a national contender and she also served as an assistant coach on Pat Summitt’s staff at Tennessee for six seasons.
