BATON ROUGE – Spots and sponsorships are still available for the second annual Lady Tiger Elite Golf Classic benefiting the LSU women’s basketball program to be held on Monday, April 16 with a 9 a.m. shotgun start at Copper Mill Golf Club in Zachary, La.
The cost is $150 per golfer or $600 per foursome. Applications for the tournament and sponsorships are available online here at LSUsports.net. All proceeds go to the LSU women’s basketball program. Registration on that Monday begins at 7:30 a.m.
The cost per golfer includes green fee, cart, continental breakfast and lunch, a Nike golf polo and memento gifts. There will also be prizes for the top finishing teams, closest to the pin and longest drive. Golfers will also have a chance to win a new 2013 Chevy Malibu with a hole-in-one on one of the par-3s at Copper Mill.
Cox Communications is serving as an All-SEC sponsor. The putting contest will be sponsored by Gulf Coast Office Products, while Gerry Lane Chevrolet is sponsoring the hole-in-one contest. Long Law Firm, LLP is serving as a cart sponsor. Beverages will be provided by Mockler Beverage Company and Coca-Cola of Baton Rouge. Food will be provided by Sammy’s Grill and TJ Ribs.
