BATON ROUGE – Although the Indiana team swept two games from the Kentucky All-Stars Friday and Saturday night in the annual games in Louisville and Indianapolis, incoming LSU freshman Anthony Hickey had a good effort in both games.
Hickey earned the title of “Mr. Basketball” in the state of Kentucky after a strong senior season at Christian County High School in Hopkinsville, Ky.
Indiana won the games, 105-103, in Louisville on Friday and 94-82 in Indianapolis on Saturday.
In the opening game, Hickey had 19 points and eight assists with just one turnover as Kentucky was almost able to pull the upset in the narrow loss in a game played at Bellarmine University.
Saturday night at Conseco Fieldhouse, Hickey finished with six points and also had six assists, six rebounds and just three turnovers.
