'Tiger Tracks' to Highlight Cotton Bowl, Gymnastics

‘Tiger Tracks’ to Highlight Basketball, Tennis

BATON ROUGE – This week’s installment of LSU Tiger Tracks, a program highlighting various aspects of the university and its athletic department, can be seen at 10 p.m. Wednesday and at 4 p.m. Thursday on Cox Sports Television.

The show, hosted by Jordy Hultberg and Bill Franques, is a weekly 30-minute production featuring interviews with LSU administrators, coaches and student-athletes, along with a look at some of the events and scholarly activity on campus.

LSU Tiger Tracks opens this week with a visit from men’s tennis coach Jeff Brown, who previews the Tigers’ 2011 season. LSU plays its home opener on Thursday, Feb. 3 versus UL-Lafayette in Dub Robinson Stadium.

LSU Tiger Tracks continues with a profile by correspondent Garrett Walvoord of women’s basketball guard Adrienne Webb, the team’s leading scorer. Webb and the Lady Tigers play host to Arkansas at 7 p.m. Thursday and to Georgia at 4 p.m. Sunday in the Maravich Center.

Marketing director Craig Pintens also stops by the LSU Tiger Tracks set and discusses the men’s basketball promotions that will be featured in February at the Maravich Center.
