After graduating from LSU, I worked at a Physical Therapy Technician at Moreau Physical Therapy in Baton Rouge while attending massage therapy school. In 2002 I went on to The University of Mississippi where I served as a Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer for the Men’s & Women’s Basketball teams. After assisting with both teams for over a year, I spent the spring 2004 semester as the primary athletic trainer for the women’s basketball team on a interim basis, before being hired full time as an assistant athletic trainer. In 2007, I was promoted to my current position as Senior Athletic Trainer. I have had the pleasure of serving as the Secretary for the Mississippi Athletic Trainer’s Association for several years and in addition to my daily duties as an athletic trainer, I am currently pursuing a PhD in Higher Education.

* Wrestling, Track & Field, Men’s Basketball After graduating from LSU, I attended Auburn University where I completed my master’s in exercise science and worked as a graduate assistant working with football and track & field. Since graduating from Auburn U. I have held the following jobs: YMCA Fitness Director (1986-88, Waycross, Ga); Head athletic trainer at Auburn University – Montgomery (1988 – 95, Montgomery, AL); Clinical athletic trainer with HealthSouth (1991 – 97, Montgomery, AL); Coordinator of Sports Medicine Services with Rehab Associates (1997-99, Montgomery, AL). In 1999 I accepted the position of assistant professor in the human performance program and program director for the athletic training education program at Huntingdon College located in Montgomery. The program receive CAAHEP accreditation in the spring 2004. I am currently completing my doctorate at Auburn U. My wife Allison and I will be celebrating our 20th anniversity this summer. We have three children: Tyler (14), Mac (12), and Jennifer Leigh (5). We reside in the town of Prattville which is only a short drive from Montgomery.
