BATON ROUGE — LSU’s game against Arizona State on Sept. 10 in Tiger Stadium will be televised to a national audience by ESPN and will carry at 7:45 p.m. start time, the Southeastern Conference announced on Monday.
In addition, the league office announced that LSU’s season-finale against Arkansas in Tiger Stadium will be played on Friday, Nov. 25 and will be televised by CBS. Kickoff for LSU’s game against the Razorbacks will be 1:30 p.m.
The LSU-Arizona State game on Sept. 10 will mark the first meeting between the teams and will feature two squads that both won nine games a year ago. The Sun Devils posted a 9-3 mark in 2004 and beat Purdue, 27-23, in the Sun Bowl.
LSU’s game against Arkansas will be played on a Friday and televised by CBS for the 10th straight year. Last year, the Tigers beat the Razorbacks, 43-14, in Little Rock to secure a berth in the Capital One Bowl.
LSU’s opens its first season under Les Miles at 7 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 3 against North Texas in Tiger Stadium.
