BATON ROUGE — Session and rotation assignments for the NCAA Gymnastics Championships were released Sunday by the NCAA committee.
LSU, winners of Saturday’s NCAA Northeast Regional Championships, will compete in the first of two preliminary round sessions that are scheduled for Thur., April 21, at Auburn’s Beard-Eaves Memorial Coliseum.
The Tigers will be joined by top-ranked Utah, Big 12 champion Nebraska, Big Ten champion Michigan, Oklahoma and Penn State in the afternoon session.
The evening session will feature Alabama, BYU, Florida, Georgia, Iowa State and UCLA.
LSU’s will begin competition on the floor and continue with the vault, bye I, bars, beam and bye II.
The top three teams from each session will advance to the Super Six finals on April 22. In addition, the top four competitors on each event, in each preliminary session, will qualify for the individual event finals scheduled for April 23.
