BATON ROUGE — The NCAA “Beyond the Game Tour”, which allows fans to have a hands-on experience with college athletics, will be on the LSU campus starting on Friday.
The event, which is being presented by CBS Sports, is free to the public and will be open from 4:30 to 10 p.m. on Friday, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and then from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday. The event will be located in the Bernie Moore Track Stadium parking lot, which is located just off Nicholson Drive.
Among the activities that the Beyond the Game Tour will offer are the Coca-Cola Gridiron Challenge, the Pontiac Performance Plays as well as the Cingular Saves of the Game. Fans will also get to re-live some of the most memorable moments in NCAA history and they’ll also have a chance to win great prizes in the process.
In addition to the Beyond the Game Tour, other events on campus this weekend has LSU hosting Alabama in a 3-game baseball series starting Friday at 6:30 p.m. at Alex Box Stadium, followed by a 2 p.m. game on Saturday and a 1 p.m. contest on Sunday.
The LSU softball team will look to clinch the SEC title outright this weekend as they host Florida in a doubleheader starting at noon on Saturday followed by a noon contest on Sunday.
