TULSA, Okla. — The No. 13-ranked Tigers will make the first of what they hope will be two trips to Tulsa this season when they face the Golden Hurricane Sunday at 1p.m.
Tulsa will host the NCAA Tennis Championship later this season at Michael D. Case Tennis Center.
The match will be the Tigers’ last of a five-match road spin. LSU (14-6, 6-3 SEC) has won four of those five matches and five of their past six. They will have played all five road matches within nine days.
The Tulsa match is LSU’s last scheduled out-of conference contest. They face Florida and South Carolina next weekend in their last two matches before heading to the SEC tournament in Nashville, Tenn.
The Tigers lead the all-time series against Tulsa, 4-1. They beat the Golden Hurricane, 6-1, last year in Baton Rouge.
