Ticket Offices Expands Hours for Tradition Fund Payments

BATON ROUGE — With the deadline approaching for LSU football season ticket holders to make their new Tradition Fund payments, the LSU Athletics Ticket Office will operate extended hours on Saturday and Sunday to accommodate fans.

The ticket office will be open from 1 p.m. until 5 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. The ticket office is located on the first floor of the LSU Athletics Administration Building next to Tiger Stadium.

LSU football season ticket holders have until Wednesday at 5 p.m. to pay at least one-half of their newly required Tradition Fund contribution for the right to purchase tickets for the 2004 season.

The new contribution is required for the purchase of approximately 45,000 LSU football season tickets. The contribution amounts range from $85 per end zone seat to $400 per seat on the sidelines between the 25-yard lines.

The Tradition Fund was introduced last August as a means of generating new revenue for LSU Athletics. The Tradition Fund goes into effect for the 2004 football season and invoices for contributions were mailed to season ticket holders in January.

Season ticket holders who are subject to the Tradition Fund have until March 31 to pay at least half of their required contribution. Any season ticket holder who has not paid at least half of the contribution will not be allowed to renew their tickets for the 2004 football season.

The deadline for complete payment of the contribution is June 30.

The LSU Athletics Ticket Office is open daily from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. For more information, season ticket holders can call the LSU Athletics Ticket Office at (225) 578-2184, or log on to LSUsports.net/vision.
