BATON ROUGE — Tuesday’s baseball game between and LSU and Loyola-New Orleans has been designated as “Fan Appreciation Night” in Alex Box Stadium.
Ticket prices for the 6:30 p.m. contest are just $3 for adults and $1 for children ages 3-12, and all seating is general admission.
The first 2,000 fans in the stadium will receive a free 2003 LSU team picture, and there will be special prizes given away during the game, including baseballs signed by coach Smoke Laval and the Tigers.
Three lucky fans will have the chance to announce the LSU batters as they come to the plate, and one fan will have the opportunity to broadcast an inning of the game with Jim Hawthorne on the LSU Sports Network.
Fans are also encouraged to listen to Baton Rouge radio station Y-100 for details on how they can win the chance to throw Tuesday night’s ceremonial first pitch.
