Baseball TV and Radio Shows Set to Premier

BATON ROUGE — The official LSU baseball television and radio programs — “Inside LSU Baseball” and “Tiger Sportsline with Smoke Laval” — will premier Sunday and Monday on stations throughout Louisiana.

“Inside LSU Baseball,” with head coach Smoke Laval and host Jim Hawthorne, premiers at 10:35 p.m. Sunday on WBRZ-TV (Cable Channel 5) in Baton Rouge.

The program, which features game highlights and player profiles, is also scheduled to air on several other affiliates around the state, including Cox Cable Channel 4 in Baton Rouge (Mondays at 8:30 p.m.), KATC-TV in Lafayette, KLAX-TV in Alexandria and KWBJ-TV in Morgan City.

Viewers are encouraged to check local listings for the times and stations in their areas.

“Tiger Sportsline with Smoke Laval,” a weekly, one-hour radio call-in program, premiers at 7 p.m. Monday on the statewide LSU Sports Network, including flagship station WDGL (98.1 FM) in Baton Rouge.

The radio show may also be heard live on LSU’s athletic department web site, www.LSUsports.net. The show is broadcast from Superior Grill on Government St. in Baton Rouge.
