BATON ROUGE — The eighth-ranked LSU softball team has rescheduled games with McNeese State and Southeastern Louisiana that were postponed due to rain earlier this season.
The Tigers (20-7) will now host McNeese State in a doubleheader on Saturday, April 5 beginning at 1 p.m. The second game will follow at 3 p.m. This doubleheader is a make up for the Feb. 26 games that were cancelled due to rain.
LSU will then host Southeastern Louisiana in a single game on Tuesday, April 8 at 6:30 p.m. This is a make up for the March 6 game that was also cancelled due to rain. The Tigers will travel to Nicholls State the following day for a regularly scheduled game against the Lady Colonels in Thibodaux at 6:30 p.m.
LSU returns to action at home this week with a doubleheader against Jackson State beginning at 5:30 p.m. The Tigers defeated JSU twice in the Purple & Gold Challenge earlier this season, 19-0 in five innings, and 9-1 in six innings.
