BATON ROUGE — LSU baseball season ticket holders will be able to sign up Monday and Tuesday for a lottery for tickets to the NCAA Super Regional series between LSU and Rice, which beings Friday in Houston.
The LSU Athletic Ticket office will open at 8 a.m. Monday to take names and credit card information until Tuesday at 5 p.m.
The LSU Athletic Department is working with Rice University to get more than the NCAA minimum visitor allotment of 600 tickets.
After the tickets are allocated for the players, parents, University Administration and Athletic Director, the remaining tickets will be distributed to LSU baseball season ticket holders via a lottery. Due to the short turnaround time, a first-come, first-served distribution is not possible.
Fans are also encouraged to contact the Rice University Athletic Ticket Office at (713) 348-4068 for ticket information.
Results of a lottery (if necessary due to demand) will be announced Wednesday morning. Ticket holders successful in the lottery will be contacted by telephone.
