LAFAYETTE, La. — Due to rain in the Lafayette area Friday, the Tiger softball team’s NCAA Regional game on Friday night has been postponed until Saturday afternoon.
With the postponement of all of Friday’s games, the top-seeded Tigers are expected to begin play between 2 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. on Saturday afternoon.
Games will begin at 9 a.m. on Saturday morning with the Louisiana-Lafayette-Mississippi State game. The Arizona State-Massachusetts game will follow 30 minutes after the conclusion of the first game.
LSU will play the winner of the ULL-Mississippi State game 30 minutes following the conclusion of the Arizona State-UMass game.
