BATON ROUGE — LSU baseball fans are invited to watch Sunday’s “Batter Up With The Batter Bowl” Recipe Contest sponsored by Cajun Injector. The contest precedes the LSU-Georgia baseball game, which begins at 1 p.m. in Alex Box Stadium.
Fans are encouraged to stop by the Cajun Injector RV from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Sunday to taste special-recipe fried fish and chicken. The RV will be located in the West Tiger Stadium parking lot at the corner of South Stadium Drive and Nicholson Drive. Fans can taste food from Cajun Injector, get great recipes and visit with Cajun Injector Chef Reece Williams prior to the LSU-Georgia game.
Judging in the cooking contest begins at Noon with the winner receiving Cajun Injector’s deluxe 30-quart Seafood Boiler and Turkey Fry Kit, valued at over $100. The winner will also join Chef Williams on the field for Sunday’s ceremonial first pitch.
Celebrity judges for the contest, which will include four participants, are LSU Athletics Director Skip Bertman, “Voice of the Tigers” Jim Hawthorne and Chef Williams.
All four contestants will receive a Cajun Injector Deluxe Batter Bowl, the latest product in Cajun Injector’s line.
