BATON ROUGE — Due to lightning and rain in at Tiger Park, the softball game between the fifth-ranked Tigers and the 19th-ranked Louisiana-Lafayette Lady Cajuns scheduled for Thursday night was cancelled.
A decision has not been made as to whether or not the game will be rescheduled. That decision will be made at a later date.
The Tigers will return to action next Wednesday as they host in-state rival Northwestern State in a doubleheader beginning at 5:30 p.m. LSU will also host Southern Miss in a rescheduled doubleheader on Thursday at 5:30 p.m.
