BATON ROUGE — LSU continued its spring drills on Wednesday with a two-hour practice session in full pads here at the LSU Practice Facility.
The Tigers will take Thursday off before returning to practice on Friday. LSU will hold its first scrimmage of the spring on Saturday.
“We had a little better practice today,” Saban said of Wednesday’s workout. “Obviously, Monday we could tell we had been off for 10 or 11 days and guys were a little rusty. It was a little tough going out there, especially coming back the first day in pads.
“The players bounced back nicely today and I thought we had a little better practice. We moved some guys around and have been looking at guys in different positions to try and gain information about guys. Right now we’re doing some experimentation.”
LSU will close out spring practice on Saturday, April 27 at 1 p.m. with the annual LSU Spring Game in Tiger Stadium. Tickets are currently on sale at the LSU Ticket Office for $5 a person. All tickets are general admission.
