BATON ROUGE — Baton Rouge area fire fighters are invited to attend Tuesday’s LSU-University of New Orleans baseball game free of charge, and they will be recognized on the field prior to the first pitch.
Fire fighters are asked to show their badges for admittance to Alex Box Stadium, and they will be directed to the playground area behind the Section Right 5 bleachers. Fire fighters are asked to enter the stadium by 6 p.m. so that they may be given instructions for the pre-game activities.
The first pitch of the LSU-UNO game is scheduled for 6:30 p.m.
Fire fighters are encouraged to wear clothing which identifies them as members of their respective departments.
A limited number of tickets for the fire fighters’ family members will be available for $7 each.
