Track & Field Assistant Ricky Vaughn Resigns

BATON ROUGE — Ricky Vaughn resigned from his post as assistant coach for the LSU track and field team on Tuesday, head coach Pat Henry announced.

Vaughn had coached both the LSU men’s and women’s throwers for the past three seasons. He came to LSU in 1998 following a successful five-year stint at UTEP.

“We’d like to thank Ricky for his contributions to the LSU track and field program over the past three seasons and wish him the best in his future endeavors,” said Henry.

Henry will begin a national search for Vaughn’s replacement immediately.
