BATON ROUGE — The 11th annual LSU Women’s Basketball Golf Scramble scheduled for Saturday, June 9, was postponed until July 21 due to heavy rain as a results of tropical storm Allison
The golf tournament is primary fundraiser for the LSU women’s basketball team and it’s sponsored by the Fast Break Club.
The tournament is set for a shotgun start at 8 a.m. with the format being a four-player scramble. The entry fee is $80 per player or $320 per team, which includes green fee, cart, lunch, beverages, a golf shirt and other items.
Prizes will be awarded to all participating teams. There will also be prizes awarded for the longest drive and closest to hole on the par 3s.
