BATON ROUGE — Wednesday night’s doubleheader between the eighth-ranked LSU Tigers and the Louisiana Tech Lady Techsters was called after the first inning due to heavy thunderstorms in the area. The games between the two teams will not be rescheduled.
LSU will open Southeastern Conference play on Saturday with a doubleheader in Tiger Park against Tennessee at 11 a.m. Free tickets to the games are available at all Baton Rouge area Winn Dixie’s. The LSU players and coaches will be autographing free posters after the game.
