BATON ROUGE — LSU has been selected to host an NCAA baseball regional tournament for the 11th year in a row.? Alex Box Stadium will be the site of the tournament, Friday, May 26, through Sunday, May 28.
Ticket books for the tournament go on sale to LSU season ticket holders at 8 a.m. Tuesday at the athletic ticket office.
The participating teams will be announced next Monday, May 22.? Games will be played at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. on May 26, at 11 a.m., 3 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. on May 27, and the championship of the double elimination tournament to be played at 1 p.m. on May 28 with a second game to follow on that date if necessary.
Regional ticket books will be on sale to LSU season ticket holders through Friday. ? Tickets may be purchased in person at the LSU Athletic Administration Building, or they may be ordered by phone by calling (225) 388-2184.? Fans purchasing tickets in person should report to the ticket windows on the south side of the athletic administration building.
The LSU ticket office is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays.? Season ticket holders are urged to buy their regional tickets in person due to the expected large volume of calls.? Payments may be made by cash, check, money order, VISA or MasterCard.
Ticket books, which are good for the entire tournament, are $65 for gold seats and for purple field-level seats, $55 for grandstand seats and $45 for bleacher seats. ? Tickets not purchased by LSU season ticket holders will go on sale to the general public on Monday, May 22.
Regional parking passes will also be on sale beginning Tuesday at the LSU ticket office. ? The parking passes are $25 and they will be sold to fans who purchased parking passes during the regular season.
